What to do when you're BORED

Hey there,

A few minutes ago I was super bored and I didn't know what to do!!!!

I'm married and my husband works from 8am to 5pm so I just stay home wondering what I can do to make the time pass! I got so tired of watching every single series on Netflix and you know... TV is not always THAT interesting...

Pretty often my day is this: Wake up, watch the new videos from my YouTube subscription, have breakfast, go back to bed and watch a few episodes of whatever series I'm watching at that moment, make the bed and continue watching the series...!!!????? That's about it! Now my brain is screaming ENOUUUUUUGH! Believe me when I say I can't stand the word "watching" anymore! So I did some thinking while I was in the shower (HAHAHAHAHA) and here's what I came up with... And I hope no idea went down the drain!!! :P

Without further delay, here's my list:

1: Go for a walk
No, seriously, staying either in bed or on the couch for 8 or 9 hours EVERY SINGLE day does no good!!! So get your bum up and go for a walk! Put some music on whatever device you're using and go get some fresh air and vitamin D! THAT is good for you!

2: Go to the pool/beach
If the weather where you are allows you too, then why not! Go get some tan! MOOOOVE!! I'm lucky I live in one of the sunniest cities in the world, but yet I have not taken advantage of it! How wasteful of me :D

3: Cook/bake something for the 1st time
Get a cooking book or go on YouTube, Pinterste or any cooking/baking website and choose a recipe you have never made before and give it a try. You may or may not like how it turns out, but at least you would've killed some time and done something productive.

4: Paint a wall in your house
Some makeover might probably be good... Choose a color, get the tools and dig in!! And remember, if you don't like it you can always paint on top of it.

5: Decorate a room
In the same idea as the point before, go to a craft or a dollar store and buy items you can use to decorate a room. You don't have to be very crafty or talented for this, but some imagination is all you need.

6: Play with makeup
Get your colors and brushes and create some art on your face!!! Whether you are good with makeup or not, just have some fun, take pictures and wash your face.

7: Color a picture
This might seem "weird" but it actually works!!! I love the color by number (where every number corresponds to a color) But you can get any coloring book for kids and have some fun :D

8: DIY a photo album
Gather some of your pictures and make a scrapbook or a poster and decorate it with stickers and add some captions... Be creative

9: Clean your closet
Try your clothes and see which fit and which don't anymore and donate them, make space for new clothes.

10: Start a blog
Seriously, this article took me about an hour to put together, sort, think and edit.
Choose a theme or something you're good with (crafts, cooking, fashion/beauty...) and write about it. Make the world know about your passion, you can also start a diary online (choose what you want people to know about your life and what shouldn't go out there :) ) this can keep you busy for a little bit.

This is it guys. I hope I was helpful.

You can share with me what you do to keep yourself entertained in the comment section :)

Until next time... Be creative :)

XOXO :)

Use an eye shadow for a different purpose

Hellooooo beauties,

Long time no see, its been a month that havent poste.

This time i'm here with new tips and trics to maximise the use of your eyeshadow palettes other than on your eyelides.

Keep reading if you want to know more...

1. Use eyeshadow to define your eyebrows, because sometime eyebrow pencils can give you a harsh and very defined look, swich to a brown or taupe eyeshadow if you dont have an eyebrow powder and make that look softer and more natural (the most important is to choose soft colours, work with short strokes and follow your natural eyebrow shape)

2. Give your cheeks a bit of colour using the pinks or peaches from your eyeshadow palette

3. Contour your face using the brown shades.

4. High light them cheeks and brow bones with the shimery or frosty colour from your palette

5. Make your lips look fuller by putting a small dot of shimmery white, cream or champagne colour to the center of your lips on top of your lipstick or gloss.

I hope this post was a bit useful, let me know if there's anything you want me to talk about on my next blog post :)

Eyeliner types

There are so many products you can use to line your lashes, depending on the look you are trying to go for.

In this blog i will try to talk about what products you can use and when to use them.

Liquid liner:

This is the most difficult type of eyeliner to apply.
If you don't have a steady hand and nevers of steel just try to avoid it.
Unless the tip of the applicator is super thing, you can't control the thinkness of you line. Can't smudge it for a smoky look, and not suitable for casual weekend looks.
If you choose using a liquide liner, make sure there's no room for mistake because its very hard to clean.

Apply using short stokes starting at the middel of you lash line going towards the outside of your eye.

Pencil eyeliner:

The best for lining the water line, and the easiest and most used liner.
You can control the line you are drawing, the best for a smoky look and easy to correct and clean.
Better results when sharpened.
If you are just beginning to wear makeup, this is the best product you can learn with.
Make sure to put an eyeshadow on top of you pincil liner to prenvent it from smudging all over you eye.
One thing you can't use a pencil eyeliner is for creating cat eyes.

Gel or cream eyeliners:

The best product yet and the most used by makeup artists.
perfect of any kind of look and usually stays on for a long time but easy to wipe of when removing your makeup.
Should be applied with a brush (angled or fine tip)
can also be used as an eyeshadow base for dramatic or smoky looks.

Eyeshadow eyeliner:

This is the easiest way to apply eyeliner and the best for an everyday look. You can use your regular eyeshows in the color you want.
Use it dry for a simple look or with a damped eyeliner brush for a metalic or more intense look.
